Casual Sofa, Chair and Footstool
by
Janet Harvie

The wood frame will be pre-assembled. We will paint and lacquer it.

While the paint is drying, we will make the upholstery.

Students will learn to make tiny braid trim for the upholstery, and learn the fine points of cutting builders foam and foam board.

Paint and fabric will be supplied in the choice of colour combinations as shown, along with all other materials.

Written instructions and patterns will be supplied, however, woodworking equipment is needed to build the frame.

All day Saturday

If you particularly desire to make another colour combination, please contact me. The patterns are specifically designed for light cotton broadcloth and heavier fabric will cause no end of trouble and a nice result will not be guaranteed. I have boxes of fabric and baskets of paint to choose from.
