make a bunch of items to share, and get a bunch of different things in return.
See

SILENT AUCTION
**NEW THIS YEAR!!!**
Another new and exciting event at the Gathering. A Silent Auction.
The idea is to bring any mini items that are still of value to some miniaturist
(but not to you any more) and donate it to the Silent Auction.
And it's a chance to pick up a bargain. Because you can never have too much
stash.
The money received will be earmarked for special Gathering prizes.

EXCHANGE GIFTS
It's all cool.... You bring one, you get one! Exchange gifts can be anything
pertaining to
miniatures, handmade or bought, with a suggested value of at least $20.
TABLE GIFTS
It has been a tradition on Saturday night to exchange small gifts with the seven
other people at your table. While a value of
$3-5 is suggested, most are handmade items which are valued by the recipients
as a
wonderful reminder of the Gathering.
Giving is optional.
CENTREPIECES
Centrepiece Theme: In the Attic : 1950's Memories
Every year, table centrepieces are the focal point of our mealtimes, and one
lucky person at each table has a chance to take one home.
We alway rely on our Gathering Attendees to make us some splendid centrepieces.
Would you or your club be interested in creating one or more centerpieces in
either in 1/12 or 1/4 scale.
We need a total of 30 centerpieces.
Space is becoming an issue for all of us so we would like to keep the
centerpiece base to about the size of a cd (approx. 4 1/2")
We'll send a list of ideas to anyone registered to make the centerpieces, to
help jump start their imagination, and provide a pattern for a
trunk.
Take a trip down memory lane and bring us all along. Do you remember this....?
If you'd like to make or contribute to a centrepiece, please

GATHERING HELPERS
These are items raffled off to help with current gathering expenses, donated by
clubs, groups or individuals. They could be a small room box or vignette, or a
single
piece such as a dressed doll, a
special piece of furniture, or a very nice accessory piece.
They usually run at a value of at least $50, but many are worth far more. The
Gathering Helpers are kept on display throughout the weekend while the tickets
are being sold.
The winning tickets are pulled at the Sunday lunch.
