The sand dollars appear plentiful. Here they are at the water's edge. I've learned the white ones are empty shells; the black ones are alive, covered with, well, fur. Actually thousands of cilia. |

And we encounter hundred, perhaps thousands, of them. This tide pool was filled with them, in their beds I guess; all those black edges poking through the sand. |
